The cover has a 6"vent formed between the 2 zippers. The 2 strips of velcro keeps the covering flap in place to prevent water from entering and at the same time forms an air vent.
This picture shows the zipper connection with the 2 protective flaps, one under the zipper and the other over the zipper. This also shows the 2 pieces of velcro which fastens the covering flap to the rear cover piece.
This picture shows the zipper connected with the covering flap in place.
The cover has sewn in tie-downs for trailering with a protective backing to prevent the cord from rubbing on the boat.
